Do you still remember the HP Pavilion g6 that we posted last month? The company has released more details about this budget-class consumer notebook. The 15.6-inch Pavilion g6 (g6-1000) is powered by the select 2nd Generation Intel Core i3 and i5 “Sandy Bridge” processors, as well as with the previous Core i3 and i5 “Nehalem” and Pentium CPUs. The HP Pavilion g6 comes with a choice of an Intel HD integrated graphics or an AMD Radeon 6470M dedicated GPU, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, a LED-backlight display, up to 500GB hard drive, a DVD burner, a built-in webcam with microphone, Altec Lansing stereo speakers, 802.11n wireless, an optional Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, HDMI and VGA outputs, three USB 2.0 ports and a multi-in-one media card reader. Available in Butter Gold, Charcoal Grey, Luminous Rose, Sonoma Red, and Sweet Purple, the HP Pavilion g6 will be released in March 13th, 2011 for a base price of $449. [Laptoping]

The EasyNote NS is Packard Bell’s brand new 14-inch laptop that is based on Intel’s new Sandy Bridge platform. Powered by an Intel Core i5/i7 processor, the system sports a 14-inch 1366 x 768 display, a GeForce GT 520 or GT 540 graphics card, up to 4GB RAM, up to 750GB hard drive, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a DVD writer or Blu-ray drive, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a USB 3.0 port, an HDMI port and a 4-hour battery.
