The company has released more details about this budget-class consumer notebook. The 15.6-inch Pavilion g6 (g6-1000) is powered by the select 2nd Generation Intel Core i3 and i5 “Sandy Bridge” processors, as well as with the previous Core i3 and i5 “Nehalem” and Pentium CPUs. The HP Pavilion g6 comes with a choice of an Intel HD integrated graphics or an AMD Radeon 6470M dedicated GPU, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, a LED-backlight display, up to 500GB hard drive, a DVD burner, a built-in webcam with microphone, Altec Lansing stereo speakers, 802.11n wireless, an optional Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, HDMI and VGA outputs, three USB 2.0 ports and a multi-in-one media card reader.
